Apple Watch early Black Friday deals are available now — here are the best discounts on the Series 6, SE, and Series 3

Black Friday 2020 is fast approaching and set to kick off right on time after Thanksgiving on November 27.

If you’re in the market for an Apple Watch, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two the best opportunities to buy one for a deal much less than full price.

There are three models of the Apple Watch that Apple is currently offering, including the Apple Watch Series 6, the Apple Watch SE, and the Apple Watch Series 3. All of them can be found for a deal at the moment in early Black Friday deals. 

The $399 Apple Watch Series 6 is Apple’s top model that comes with a new blood-oxygen sensor to measure SpO2 levels to track your overall respiratory and cardiac health. The Series 6 also runs on Apple’s S6 chip that the company claims is 20% faster than the previous Series 5. 

The Apple Watch SE is lighter on features than the Series 6, and it has a $270 MSRP that reflects as much. While it comes with core fitness tracking features and sensors, it doesn’t come with the advanced health and fitness tracking sensors like an ECG or SpO2 sensor, and thus doesn’t include some of the more advanced health and fitness tracking features as the Series 6. It runs on the same processor as the Series 5, giving it plenty of power for most people’s needs. 

Apple is still selling the 2017 Apple Watch 3 for $199, making it an option for budget-conscious buyers to get the core Apple Watch experience. 

Other Apple Watch models like the Series 5 and Series 4 can still be found, but they’re not being given the Black Friday treatment as of yet.

Some deals exist for Apple’s current Apple Watch models, like the Series 6, SE, and Series 3. They’re not massive discounts, but they’re in line with what we expect for Apple’s coveted smartwatches during Black Friday.

Based on last year, we’re not expecting deals to go much lower on Black Friday itself. For Series 5, the top model of 2019, we only saw a $20 discount on Black Friday from $429 to $409. And, Apple is already selling the Series 3 for lower than Black Friday last year, and it’s available for even less now.

On top of the usual fitness and health tracking features and sensor you’d find on previous generations, the Apple Watch Series 6 lets you measure your blood oxygen level, take an ECG from your wrist, see your fitness metrics directly on your wrist. It’s brand new, so deals make the Series 6 tempting, especially the $70 discount we’re seeing now.

The Apple Watch SE is the perfect blend of features and affordability. This recently released Apple Watch is selling for less than $20 its usual price — which was already a bargain for all it offers.

The Apple Watch Series 3 in aluminum is the perfect blend of style and functionality for an excellent price.

Does Apple have Black Friday deals?

Apple itself generally doesn’t offer Black Friday deals from its website or its stores, but other retailers that sell Apple products, like Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon (as well as B&H Photo and Adorama), will have discounts on a range of Apple products. How much will the Apple Watch Series 5 cost?

We haven’t seen Series 5 or Series 4 deals yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for Apple’s previous generation smartwatches. 

Will a new Apple Watch come out in 2020?

In 2020, we’ve already seen the launch of two Apple Watch models: the aforementioned Apple Watch Series 6 and SE. We don’t expect another Apple Watch model to be released in 2020.
