Black Friday 2020 has arrived and stores are running major deals on all sorts of electronics. Some of the best tech deals you’ll find will be on TVs, at all price points, from brands across the board.

We’ve compiled all the best Black Friday TV deals that are active now, and some have already started to sell out due to high demand. Read on for the best Black Friday TV deals that major retailers are running, including Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and more. And don’t worry about lugging your new TV from store to home: Many retailers are also offering free shipping.

With in-person Black Friday shopping impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, several stores launched their Black Friday TV sales early, including big deals on flagship and mid-range models from LG, Samsung, Sony, and Vizio.

Some of the best Black Friday TV deals included discounts on several OLED models. The 65-inch Sony A8H, Vizio OLED, and LG CX are all on sale for all-time low prices, though the LG CX is currently sold out at Best Buy and Amazon. All three TVs provide pixel-level contrast, perfect black levels, and wide viewing angles.

The LG CX can get a little brighter than the competition and it includes HDMI 2.1 ports for next-gen gaming features. Meanwhile, the Sony A8H costs $100 less than the LG, and it offers the most accurate color of the bunch. On the downside, the Sony doesn’t include HDMI 2.1. Finally, the Vizio OLED is the cheapest 65-inch OLED on the market right now, and the 55-inch model is just $900. For that low price, however, you lose out on built-in voice control.

I’m actually testing the Vizio OLED right now, and though I’ve been blown away by the image quality, I’ve run into some compatibility issues with my Onkyo receiver and the TV’s HDMI ARC port. I’ve reached out to Vizio about the issue and I’ll update this article once I hear more. For now, buyers with Onkyo AV receivers may want to avoid this particular model.

Of course, OLEDs aren’t the only worthwhile TVs currently benefiting from early holiday discounts. One of the most popular deals so far includes a big discount on the entry-level Hisense H65 Series TV. Though its picture quality is nothing special, the 4K TV offers decent performance for casual viewing, basic HDR capabilities, and Android TV streaming. The 65-inch model is on sale for just $250 at Best Buy this weekend, though early stock appears to have sold out. The 70-inch model is still available for $450 though, a $200 savings off its usual price.

Smaller TVs will also see big discounts, including Insignia’s 50-inch 4K Fire TV which will be available for only $150. You can find a rundown of all the best Black Friday TV deals below.

Sony’s 65-inch A8H Series OLED 4K TV has excellent picture quality and smart Android TV features built in. The display carries a full retail price of $2,800 but is typically on sale for $2,300. Best Buy and Amazon’s current $1,800 deal price matches the lowest price we’ve ever seen.

Vizio’s 4K OLED TV features all of the benefits that OLED displays are known for, including an infinite contrast ratio. The TV is on sale at Best Buy for just $1,500 right now, making it the most affordable 65-inch OLED you can buy.

This 55-inch OLED TV features pixel-level contrast and deep black levels. The TV is on sale now for an all-time low price of just $900, which is one of the best prices we’ve ever seen any 55-inch OLED model sell for.

LG’s BX is the most affordable 2020 OLED the company offers. It’s not as advanced as the CX, and it can’t get as bright, but overall picture performance is very similar to that more expensive model. At a sale price of $1,198, it offers a lot of value, but it can’t quite beat Vizio’s $900 Black Friday deal price on its competing 55-inch OLED.

Samsung’s Q80T offers all of the features that buyers should look for in a high-end QLED TV, including quantum dots, full-array local dimming, and an HDMI 2.1 port. The TV’s full retail price is a bit high, but the current $300 discount makes it a better value.

The 75-inch NanoCell 80 supports HDR and wide color, along with LG’s reliable webOS smart TV platform. At a current deal price of just under $1,000, the display offers solid value for its massive screen size

Samsung’s Q60T lacks the local dimming feature that the company’s more expensive TVs offer, but it still provides a colorful 4K screen with Alexa built in for voice controls. The full retail price is a bit high for a 50-inch set, but the current $150 discount is a solid deal.

The Sony X800H features 4K HDR support with wide color reproduction. The Android smart TV also offers better viewing angles than most LCD TVs, ensuring you get a good view no matter where you sit. The current $798 sale price is one of the lowest we’ve seen so far.

The TCL 4 Series is a solid entry-level 4K TV with basic HDR support and Android TV streaming built in. This current $230 price is $70 less than usual — a good option for Black Friday shoppers.

This 50-inch Samsung Smart TV is selling for about $100 less than its usual going rate. While it may not have a fancy OLED panel, this Samsung TV offers several streaming apps and is an incredible value.

This LG 55-inch unit features edge-lit local dimming for improved contrast and supports both Alexa and Google Assistant. During Target’s early Black Friday sale, it’s selling for $200 less than usual.

The 24-inch Insignia 720p TV is a nice fit for buyers who want a small smart TV for casual viewing. The TV is on sale right now for just $80 at Best Buy and Amazon.

If you’re looking for an affordable TV model from Sony, this is one of your best bets. It offers local dimming and wide color support, along with Android TV streaming. The 65-inch X900H will be on sale for $400 off its full price on Black Friday.

The Insignia 50-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV can’t match more expensive models when it comes to picture quality, but it offers a cheap and convenient way to watch all you streaming services directly on your TV. The TV will be on sale for just $150 on Black Friday, which is $200 off its full retail price.

This 70-inch Hisense model is currently selling for $450 at Best Buy. Similar 4K UHD Smart TV’s with Dolby Vision HDR can cost upwards of $700, so this Hisense model is a tremendous value. For what it’s worth, this is one of the lowest prices we’ve ever seen on this particular model.

Black Friday 2020 officially begins on November 27, which is the Friday after Thanksgiving.

That said, many retailers have already launched their Black Friday promotions, extending the sales event throughout the month of November and beyond. Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and Target all have live Black Friday discounts available across many product categories, including tech and TVs.

Following Black Friday, more deals will continue to roll out through Cyber Monday 2020 on November 30.

Finding the right TV for your needs can be a tricky and time-consuming process. Price can vary a lot depending on the features and size you want. On the low-end, you can find smaller HDTVs for as little as $100 or less. When it comes to flagship 65-inch 4K models, prices can rise to $1,500 or more. Depending on how big the display is, the best 8K TVs can even cost in excess of $10,000.

Thankfully, there are a few simple guidelines you can follow to help narrow down your selection.

If you prioritize genuine home theater performance for the best movie-watching experience, you’ll want to opt for a 4K display with at least a 65-inch screen. The best 4K TVs use an OLED panel, or an advanced LED screen (often branded as QLED) with local dimming and quantum dots. These display types enable the highest contrast, deepest black levels, and brightest images for a gorgeous high dynamic range (HDR) picture.

For people who just want a no-fuss display that’s suited for casual viewing, a smaller TV with a more budget-friendly LED panel should be more than fine. Though image performance won’t be as impressive as more expensive models, there are plenty of cheap LED TVs with solid performance, including budget models that still manage to pack in 4K, HDR, and integrated smart TV streaming.
